How to read stale dates, sold/delisted signals, and disappearing inventory without assuming the wrong story.
Short answer: Quiet listings and delist signals mean indexed inventory changed — sold, moved, pulled, or temporarily offline. Do not treat silence as a precise sold price or as proof the coach never existed.
Common patterns
- Stale active listing — still marked for sale, but photos/dates feel old. Verify on the dealer page before you travel.
- Delisted / sold heuristic — inventory disappeared from a source we watch. Could be a sale, a dealer transfer, or a pull.
- Reappear later — same coach at a new stock number or dealer. Market history is how you connect those dots.
Research steps when a favorite goes quiet
- Re-read the coach’s timeline (What listing history means).
- Check Market pulse for related sold/delisted rows.
- Search for the coach again via Search in case another source still lists it.
- Keep your comparable set warm in Browse so one disappearance does not restart your whole process.
