Short answer: Listing history on Prevost List is an indexed trail of dealer (and FSBO) appearances for a coach — not a government title history and not a promise that every private sale was captured.

What “Sources” usually means

When a coach page shows multiple sources or timeline events, those are listing snapshots Prevost List has parsed and attached to the same coach identity. Examples:

• The same coach reappearing at a dealer with a new price
• Stock number continuity across updates
• A later sold/delisted heuristic when inventory disappears

Thin history (one source, one event) is common early in a crawl’s life. That is honesty, not failure.

How to read the timeline

1. Listed — we indexed an active (or previously active) listing appearance.
2. Price changes — when snapshots show a different asking price.
3. Sold / delisted signals — heuristics and reports; treat unlabeled community prices carefully.

Never assume missing years mean the coach sat idle. It may have been off-market, at a dealer we do not cover yet, or sold privately.

Price confidence

Listed asking prices are not sold prices. Community-reported sold figures are labeled by source confidence on purpose. The paid Verified Coach Record only asserts prices it can attribute — everything else stays clearly marked.
