How to read dealer coverage on Prevost List
What indexed dealers mean for research, how claimed dealers differ, and why missing a dealer is not the same as missing a coach forever.
Short answer: Dealers shows which inventory sources Prevost List indexes. Coverage expands over time; a coach can still exist even if its current dealer is not yet in the graph.
Indexed vs claimed
| Term | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Indexed dealer | We crawl/parse their Prevost inventory into coach records when patterns allow |
| Claimed dealer | A dealer account that can enrich placement and structured data over time |
Scraped inventory still supports research and listing history. Claimed status is about product depth, not whether a coach is “real.”
How buyers should use the page
- Scan Dealers for names you already trust.
- Note regions or chains that appear often in your shortlist.
- Read Coverage for honest limits of the dataset.
- Still compare coaches on specs and history — not dealer logos alone.
Gaps are normal
If your preferred dealer is missing, use Search and Browse anyway; the same coach may appear under another source later. Thin dealer coverage is a reason to keep watching Market pulse, not to invent prices from forums.
